Privacy Policy

Short version: this site is static, and we do not ask you for anything.

What we collect

Honeycomb Wiki does not ask you to create an account or submit personal information. There are no forms on this site. We may use analytics to see which pages are read and third-party advertising networks to fund the site, as described below.

Hosting records

The site is served by a third-party static hosting provider. Like any web host, it records standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL, for security and reliability purposes. We do not combine this with any other information and we do not use it to identify individuals.

Analytics

This site may use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which device types they use. We use it only to decide what to write next. We do not sell this data or attempt to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of the data it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

You can opt out entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics scripts in your browser or extension of choice. Nothing on this site depends on analytics working.

Advertising

This site may use Google AdSense or other advertising networks. Third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar technologies to serve, measure and personalise ads. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

Cookies and local storage

Analytics and advertising services may set their own cookies to measure traffic and serve ads. Honeycomb Wiki does not itself use cookies to collect information submitted through forms or accounts.

External links

We link to Steam and other external sites. Those services have their own privacy policies, which govern anything you do once you leave this site.

Changes

Any material change to this policy will be reflected on this page along with its verification date.
